How to use psitsNOT

(Don't worry about it much! The controls all have tooltips!)
  • Log in with any OpenID URL
  • Upload a picture
    • Browse through the files on your disk
    • Select one
    • Press "Send Picture File" to start editing
  • Rotate if necessary
    • Rotate your image left or right

  • Crop to taste
    • Set percentage of image to crop out at left, top, right, and bottom
    • Total percent left + right or top + bottom must be less than 100!
    • Press "Preview" to see what your image will look like after cropping
    • Press "Crop" to crop your image
  • Adjust brightness and contrast

  • Adjust color
  • Optional adjustments
    • "Enhance Color Contrast" will maximize the amount of color in your image
    • "Reduce Grain" may smooth the overall appearance
    • "Sharpen" will make your image look sharper for the web
  • Set final size
    • Set the maximum horizontal and vertical size for your image in pixels
    • Sorry, this program won't allow more than 640 pixels in either dimension
    • Press the "Final Size" button to resize your image
  • Save -- You can save your image by...
    • Dragging it to its destination on your computer, or
    • Right-clicking and selecting "Save As..."
